I love a good simple project. I also love anything that has to do with cocktail hour. These DIY coasters are a fun way to add a little color block-flair to your coffee table or bar cart.
What you will need: blank DIY coastersImage may be NSFW.
Clik here to view., Craft Paints in 2-3 Colors, Paint Brushes, Painters Tape

The first step is to mask off areas of your blank coastersImage may be NSFW.
Clik here to view. so that when you paint, you create geometric shapes. I went for triangles and stripes which I think turned out great.

Choose 2-3 paint colors that work well together. I used white, mint, and gold.

Then paint the masked off areas of each coaster. Let dry for about 30 minutes before peeling off the tape. I had to give mine a couple coats of paint for that solid coverage. This will depend on what type of paint you use. But just paint until you are happy with the colors.

I loved how these turned out! And because the pack of coasters I bought had so many, I want to make sets and bundle them up for all my friends as gifts! Ohhh they’d make thoughtful hostess gifts too, don’t you think? Tie them up with some twine and you have a great gift!
